Ability of Compensation for the Subjects of Agricultural Natural Disasters Based on Brain Evoked Potential Experiment

The present study studies the ability of the compensation for the subjects of agricultural natural disasters, using the brain evoked potential experiment. With 30 healthy volunteers recruited from the government, farmers, and intermediary organizations as subjects, this article analyzes the level and operation mechanism of compensation of agricultural natural disasters, and the subjects and their characteristics, and construct a multi-subject compensation mechanism for natural disasters in agriculture. The results show as follows: (1) The government financial compensation has a positive effect on the compensation for the subjects of agricultural natural disasters. (2) Market compensation has a positive effect on the compensation for the subjects of agricultural natural disasters. (3) Social compensation has a positive effect on the compensation for the subjects of agricultural natural disasters. The study evaluates the ability of agricultural natural disaster compensation at present using systematic engineering theory and institutional entropy method and proposes countermeasures to improve the ability of compensation of natural disasters in agriculture from the perspective of transforming the concept of government financial compensation, clarifying the functions of the government and the market, and establishing and improving the social compensation of mutual assistance.
