Quantum Holography and Agency: Toward a Formalism of Schema QD

Abstract


This article applies quantum holography to a model of agency. It builds on Lacan's work on the subject in his model of Schema R and the use of a cross-cap. It provides both a formalism and qualitative theory of the functioning of agency and consciousness. It responds to the lack of convincing models of agency. It goes beyond many approaches in quantum and holography theory that develop models of consciousness such as Penrose and Hameroff that only begin to specify the operation of agency itself and its relationship to consciousness. It is a holistic approach that incorporates recent discoveries and theorizing in both quantum and holography theory. Phase conjugation is a central concept for development.
