Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the coagulopathy patterns in patients with chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH) by analyzing clotting factors, activated protein C, and fibrinogen degradation products. The study population consisted of 28 number of participants including 22 male and 6 female. Coagulation profiles were assessed through measurement of clotting factors (II, V, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII), activated protein C, and antithrombin III, while fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) were also analyzed. The findings revealed [provide key findings, e.g., alterations in clotting factors, levels of activated protein C, antithrombin III, and FDP]. These results highlight the presence of coagulopathy in CSDH patients and contribute to a better understanding of the underlying pathophysiology. Further research is warranted to explore the clinical implications and potential therapeutic interventions for managing coagulation abnormalities in CSDH.
