Abstract
Background –The integration of Yoga and Artificial Intelligence has opened new possibilities for enhancing the practice of Yoga and making it more accessible to people worldwide. AI-powered yoga algorithms can provide tailored routines that help practitioners achieve their goals and overcome their limitations. Virtual yoga teachers can offer personalized guidance, and their presence can help beginners feel more confident in their practice. Additionally, AI can be used to analyze and understand the benefits of different yoga poses and practices, leading to a more evidence-based approach to Yoga. The combination of these two fields have the potential to revolutionize the way we practice and teach Yoga, making it more effective and inclusive for everyone.
Objective- This review work has been designed to consider the available literature concerning the role of Artificial Intelligence in field of Yoga posture detection, identification, and correction in real time.
Methodology- A literature search was conducted using key terms Artificial Intelligence (Title) or Yoga Posture (Title) and Identification. The key term Artificial Intelligence was included so that the search would include studies with a variety of Yoga posture detection and identification between 2019-2023usingdata base such as google scholar, PubMed, etc. The search identified total ninearticles out of which eight articles were examined more closely for eligibility.
Result- Based on review of relevant article it was found that there was a significant accuracy of Artificial Intelligence based posture detection model in a given number of Yogasana.
