Dr. Sudarshini M., Dr. Shashwathi Siddaramappa, Dr. Puspanjali Jena
Abstract
Background: Ropivacaine is commonly used for peripheral nerve blocks. Adding adjuvants to
Ropivacaine has several advantages like faster onset of action, longer duration of analgesia and
lesser complications. This study aims at comparing two such adjuvants with respect to onset of
action, intraoperative haemodynamics, duration of postoperative analgesia and any associated
complications.
