Abstract
Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is defined as chronic mucoperiosteal inflammation of middle ear cleft and mastoid antrum which presents as ear discharge or otorrhea through a permanent tympanic membrane perforation for a period of more than 3 months. [1]. Tympanoplasty is an operation to eradicate disease in the middle ear and to reconstruct the hearing mechanism, with or without tympanic membrane grafting
