Abstract
This study is focused on the Job satisfaction among Women Faculties of self-financing arts
and science colleges in Thoothukudi District. The research problems in the present study involves
whether the women faculties are satisfied with the general working conditions, payment,
promotion, recognition and job security prevailing in self-financing arts and science colleges. The
research problem reveals the justification with respect to the pay and promotional aspects persisting
in self-financing arts and science colleges in Thoothukudi District.
