A STUDY ON THE FACTORS INFLUENCING PURCHASE DECISION OF RESIDENTIAL HOUSE
Mrs.RENUKA BATTU, and Dr.INDIRA
Abstract
Real, which meaning royal in Spanish, is where the phrase "real estate" originates. Real estate is
therefore synonymous with royal estate. This is due to the fact that there were only two social classes
throughout the Agrarian Age: monarchy and peasants. The peasants lived there and cultivated the land,
which belonged to the royals. Residential (housing), Commercial (offices, stores, theatres, hotels, parking
lots), Industrial (warehouses, factories, power plants), Agricultural (farms, orchards, etc.), and Special
Purpose Real Estate are the five categories.
Studies that focused explicitly on how prospective buyers recognise their requirements while
purchasing a home were lacking. The earlier studies focused exclusively on the variables affecting
purchase decisions. However, this study's focus is mostly on the process of making a buying decision,
which involves a number of steps from recognising a need to planning to buy a property. The
characteristics of the residential house purchasers group in relation to the decision-making frameworks
for home purchases are usefully revealed by descriptive analysis. Every purchase decision construct's
mean and standard deviation shows its variances and mean values
