A Survey on Brain Lesions and the Techniques Used to Detect Them.

Abstract
A brain lesion is the damage caused to any part of the brain due to infection, trauma, accident, birth defect, stroke, disease like lupus (an auto immune disease) , vascular injury, impaired supply of blood to the brain, etc. There is a difference between Brain tumor and brain lesion. A particular kind of brain lesion is a brain tumor. All brain tumors are lesions but not all lesions are tumors. Each tiny area of the brain is in charge of ensuring that each component of the human body functions correctly.
