A cross-sectional study on the assessment of intellectual functioning in epileptic children

Abstract
Epilepsy in children is a commonly diagnosed phenomena and the requirement of accurate diagnosis and treatment seek great attention in recent research. The correlation between cognitive impairment and other factors such as ongoing seizures, antiepileptic syndrome, high seizure frequency, and the consequences of poly-medication has to be revealed. Aim: To evaluate the intellectual functioning in the children affected with epilepsy and thereby assess the impact of epilepsy-associated variables on their IQ score
