A review on solid dispersion: Applications, Types & Method of preparations

Abstract
The aim this study is expressed the term "solid dispersion" which refers to an inert carrier and matrix
containing one or more active ingredients that have been dispersed in a solid form using a melt,
fusion, solvent, or melt solvent preparation process.The drug's permeability and oral bioavailability
are significantly influenced by its solubility. There are some medications whose solubility makes it
difficult to create a formulation that is suited for oral administration.The carrier modification and
solid dispersion particle characteristics result in the release profile of drugs managed by solid
dispersions.The hydrophobic medication and the hydrophilic matrix are used to create the solid
products, which are made up of at least two distinct components.Solid dispersion technique has
improved the solubility of poorly water-soluble drugs for a number of reasons
