ABORTION: PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS & WOMEN’S INTEGRAL RIGHT TO HEALTH

Abstract
The laws on abortion have undergone major changes in many countries over the last few years. This paper analyses the need for safe & legal procedure of abortion. It also compares abortion laws of different countries & their judicial approach. This paper attempts to study the mentality of people (in India) with respect to abortion. Being a difficult decision for the pregnant woman, the authors have also touched upon psychological aspects of abortion & its impact on the pregnant woman.
