ADVANCEMENT IN BENCH SLOP STABILITY IN OPEN CAST MINES
Raj Ashish
Abstract
Bench slop stability in open cast mines is an important factor in the safe operation of such mines. This
paper presents a review of recent developments in bench slop stability in open cast mines, with a focus
on the use of numerical models, instrumentation, and monitoring techniques. The paper also examines
the potential of using new technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and
autonomous systems to improve bench slop stability. The paper concludes by discussing the
implications of these technologies for the future of open cast mining
