AN INVESTIGATION ON THE VIBRATIONAL PROPERTIES OF THE COKE PUSHING RAM WHILE IT IS BEING USED IN THE COKE PUSHING PROCESS
Mr. Kuna Naresh Raj, Mr. P. Shivaraj, Mr. S Suresh
Abstract
In the coke pushing process, serious vibrations may develop in the coke pushing ram, which can directly impact the regular output of the coke oven. In order to research the vibration characteristics of the coke pushing ram and prevent vibrations, it is required to analyse the vibration characteristics of the coke pushing ram. In this piece, the coke pushing resistance is calculated using the coke pushing current, and a mathematical model of a coke pushing ram in action during the coke pushing process is developed so that the vibration mechanism of a coke pushing ram may be investigated. After the slipper enters the carbonization chamber, the results indicate that the coke pushing velocity is less than the critical velocity in the low-velocity and heavy-load coke pushing process. This indicates that the stick-slip vibration occurs in the coke pushing ram, and the factors that primarily affect the stability of the coke pushing ram include the difference between the static and dynamic friction coefficients, stiffness, and damping. Experimentation and numerical simulation are used to verify the accuracy of the findings.
Stick-slip mechanism, vibrational ram, mathematical model, and coke pushing resistance are some of the keywords that should be considered.
