Adjusted Chaotic Sequences in the SLM-OFDM System Outperform the Similar PTS-OFDM System in terms of PAPR Performance for Hospital Data (Brain Images)
Mr. Sandip R. Udawant, Dr. Suman Rani
Abstract
This study found that, compared to the modified Hadamard sequence, the SLM-OFDM device with the improved chaotic sequence can lower PAPR by at least 0.4 dB. Furthermore, we found that the SLM-OFDM system outperforms the comparable PTS-OFDM system in terms of PAPR performance when using modified chaotic sequences. The PAPR reduction capabilities of the PTS-OFDM scheme with 4- to 8-QAM order translations and MPSM were pretty close with the same number of possible sequences. The proposed 4-ary to 8-QAM and 4-ary to 8-PSK mapping algorithms beat the existing MPSM in terms of BER performance. This is because M-2M translation only uses two stage coefficients for SLM and PTS-OFDM circuits, increasing the cluster size by one.
