The recently invented model Cloud Computing has a vast area for using the resources with cost-effectively. The service provider’s job is to share the resources anywhere at any time using thenetwork for accessing data in the cloud. So the cloud malicious paves the way to enter into cloud network advantageously &easily. But Intrusion Detection System(IDS) willmonitor the network and spot the attacks. When virtual machine is created IDS follow the known and unknown data.This study recommendsdecision tree (J48) algorithms for foretelling unwanted data. The approach formerly was applied on the NSL-KDD dataset. But the paper presented focus is on studyon NSL-KDDdataset in detail which has only selected record.
