Abstract

Remote sensing theory and practice are being revolutionized by the introduction of new sensors and increased usage of satellite images. Knowledge-driven approaches remain one of the most important research directions in the remote sensing community, despite the fact that datadriven approaches based on creative algorithms and increasing computer capacities are becoming more popular for processing massive volumes of Earth Observation data
