Abstract
Three dimensional imaging is increasing day by day and many attractive electronicgadgets are available
in the market now a days. Three-dimensional imaging finds its applications in the area of image printing,
clinical surgery, industry automation etc. Universally compatible fast and morereliable more of acquiring
data are the basic requirements today. Thus there is a need to develop an electronic module that can
fulfill all the requirements. This paper describes a design of time of flight camera also called as PMD
camera. This camera measures the distance between the target device and the camera pixel, also can
capture the height width and the depth of an image. Thus, the consequences of 2D cameras are overcome
inthis type of 3D camera. This paper focuses on experimental results of the PMD camera using the timeof
flight technology and correction of the artifacts thatoccur during capturing the target scene using deep
learning algorithm
