Abstract
This article analyzes the determinants of Ecuadorian economic growth through the analysis of three stages of structural changes (1950-1972, 1973-1999, 2000-2017) experienced by the Ecuadorian economy. The statistical method of growth accounting is used and growth is decomposed into two groups: accumulation of productive factors(extensive growth) and technological progress (intensive growth).
