Antimicrobial Activity of Biosurfactants against Biofilm producers isolated from Medical Devices.

Abstract
Background: Biofilm-producing bacteria have increased morbidity and mortality in patients with indwelling medical devices. There is a need to have effective treatment against biofilm- producing bacteria. Biosurfactants may have applications in the treatment of such patients. Biosurfactants are nontoxic and biodegradable compounds produced by organisms utilizing petrol as a carbon source
