Abstract

An investigation was carried out to evaluate the use of public microcredits in cocoa production in the area of influence of the city of Quevedo. As the main results, it was found that there is no strengthening of accessibility to microcredits with representative values that allow producers to generate economies of scale, a situation that is due to multiple factors, ranging from ignorance in the use of financial tools to poor management in the cost and investment systems
