BIOSENSOR & BIOMARKER: A REVIEW ON A PROACTIVE APPROACH TOWARDS AN ADVANCED HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
P. DEBASHIS, K. ILANGO
Abstract
In recent dates, The Biosensor and Biomarkers are the vital tools in the fields of biomedical research, forensic and biotechnology. A promising research area that is crucial for biological and biochemical investigations nowadays is the creation of extremely effective probes for the accurate detection of biosensors. In the recent years, biomacromolecules including enzymes, antibodies, and nucleic acids have been added to biosensor platforms in addition to tiny chemical probe molecules to enable the extremely accurate and effective detection of biomarkers. But there is still a pressing need in this sector for biosensor performance to be improved, particularly for clinical applications. This review will help us to have knowledge about different types of biosensors according to their field of use. It also covers the recent advancements in the wearable biosensors and challenges faced during the development of a biosensor. This article describes the action and mechanism of different types of biosensors like electrochemical biosensor, DNA based biosensor, biosensor for heavy metal detection, vitamin C & D biosensor, cathodic biosensors for detection, proper diagnosis and identification of disease factors and related issues. This article may help us to understand the role of biosensor in future in the fields of clinical research, biotechnology, biochemistry and Genetic engineering etc.,
