BLOCKCHAİN BASED SECURE ED-DWT WATERMARKİNG AND RECONSTRUCTİON: ATTACKS ANALYSİS
Abhishek Tiwari , V. B. Reddy
Abstract
İncreaing imaging data acqiusition rates makes it diffcult to storing and authenticaton of the images.
Therefore, it is high time to design secure image watermarking algorithm to authenticate imaging
data. The major challenge is to efficiently reconstruct the mage back from watermarked image under the watermark attacks. Therefore, his paper proposed to design a hybrid Blockchain (BC) secured
watermarking method using the edge detection (ED) of the local discrete wavelet transform (DWT)
coefficients. Using ED-DWT combination is expected to enhance the invisibility of watermark to lead
robustness. To add robustness edge dilated coefficients are use das local features for watermark insertion process. Method proposed to add security and authentication by implementing BC based
SHA256 image encryption over the watermarked images. At the receiver end first BC based decryption is carried out and then image is reconstructed using image de-watermarking. The LAB colour
space is used for watermark embedding for colour images. The main contribution of paper is to
evaluate the effectiveness of image reconstruction under the exposure of five most common watermark attacks. The qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the watermark reconstruction method is carried out based on the histogram weights and parametric analysis based on the PSNR, NC and
SSIM. The results jusrify the effectivness of the proposed method. Certain open reserch challenge
based on learnings are also concluded for future scope
