Benzophenone And Pyrazine Derivatives Differential Effects On Ovarian Cancer (SK-OV-3) Cell Line
Alin Bose, Raman Rajeshkumar, Jatin M
Abstract
Ovarian cancer is the sixth most typical malignancy in women globally. More women die from ovarian cancer each year than any other disorder that affects the female reproductive system. It is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related mortality and the most lethal malignancy of the female reproductive system. In terms of gynaecologic malignancies, it also has the greatest death rate. The current investigation aids in comprehending the effect of derivatives of benzophenone and pyrazine on ovarian cancer through an Invitro analysis. In-vitro cytotoxicity study was carried out for both the compounds with highest binding affinity benzophenone and Pyrazine against SK-OV-3 cell line. MTT assay was performed to determine the IC50 of the compounds. The research extended on to discover and categorise therapeutic targets and assess the compounds and assess their anticancer potential on the SK-OV-3 Cell line.
