Body Image, Social Interaction and Psychological Distress in Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Abstract
Objective: The present study aims to investigate the relationship between body image, social interaction and psychological distress in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Method: The correlational study was conducted through purposive sampling technique by recruiting (N=150) participants with the diagnosis of PCOS. The data was gathered through different psychological instruments these were; Demographic data sheet, Body Image Concerns Inventory, Social Interaction Anxiety Scale and for Psychological Distress Symptom Checklist -90 R.
