Abstract
Hypothyroidism is a clinical condition that arises from a deficiency in the target tissues of
thyroid hormones, resulting in a widespread slowing down of all metabolic processes. With nearly one
fifth of the population affected by hypothyroidism it is important to understand the clinical presentation
of the disease. The present study aims to explore various clinical signs and symptoms in female patients
with hypothyroidism.
