Abstract

Due to rapid technological advancements in automobile sector, vehicular congestion has become a predominant sight not just in tier-I cities but also in tier-II and tier-III cities. Vehicular congestions give rise to vehicular collision and pollution. To mitigate this menace, it is important to detect surrounding vehicles such that all the three intertwined issues, viz. congestion, collision and pollution can be addressed effectively
