COMPARISON OF SELECTED PHYSICAL FITNESS COMPONENTS IN TRACK AND FIELD BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AND NON-UNIVERSITY PARTICIPANTS

Abstract
This research purpose was to analyze some physical factors in track and field between university and non-university athletes. 21 volunteers from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education in Gwalior were selected for achieving the goal of this study (11 inter-university and 10 non-university) aged between 18 and 24 years for the study. Speed, abdominal strength, agility, and flexibility was includedfor Assessment. The statistical analysis and comparison of the two groups revealed that there was a statistically significant difference in speed, abdominal strength, and agility between them. The differences in flexibility were not statistically significant, despite the fact that they existed. This study outcoms showed that years of intense physical conditioning and training, or the selection of individuals for the inter-university team who have more desirable features due to the findings show that.
