Sapte Anita Shripatrao, Dr. Sujay Madhukar Khadilkar
Abstract
Small business is crucial to emerging economies, which are characterized by a lack of capital on the one hand and underutilized labor on the other. Given the exceptionally favorable capital-output ratios and employment possibilities in these nations, planners and policy makers have been paying close attention to small industry. Small industries have been classified as having a "key role in the country's economic growth" in the Indian context because to their low capital requirements, strong employment potential, decentralisation of the industrial base, and dispersion of industries to rural and semi-urban regions. Along with the rise of mom-and-pop shops, an unpleasant phenomenon has evolved in this sector. Some reports indicated that there was an increase in the number of sick days taken by employees at smaller businesses. In light of this, an effort is made to research the challenges faced by business owners while running their small businesses. So in this article Problems relating to technology and management faced by the small scale industry in the study area have been analyzed in this study. For this purpose, five technology and management problems have been given to the sample respondents.
