Abstract
The hyphenated analytical method known as capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry(CE-MS) is now well established. It has the ability to profile polar and charged metaboliteswell. Recent years have seen advancements in the design of better interfacing methods forconnecting CE to MS. It is frequently employed in metabolomics. It has been accomplished to build CE-MS methods for profiling metabolites in samples with limited sample volume and in methods that further expand metabolic coverage. The main technologicaladvancements in CE-MS approaches and methods for metabolomics, single-cell analysis, andproteomics are covered in this review paper. Typical examples demonstrate the value of CEMS.Thereareconclusions and viewpoints presented
