This study aims to encompass the technical characteristics of the emerging metaverse technology and space, in addition to identifying the most important features of this technology, its areas of use, and its benefits. It primarily aims to survey the informational content and values of the technology and its challenges for the individual user and, by extension, the broader societal entity.Based on research procedures, the study has shown that the metaverse is a future technology characterized by quality and precision, and it holds numerous advantages if used in fields such as education and marketing, to name but a few. However, this technology is not without its informational risks at the level of personal data security for the individual user, as well as ethical and value risks for users primarily, and risks to both physical and psychological aspects.
