Comparative Analysis of Conservative versus Cement Augmentation in Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures – A Prospective and Retrospective Study

Abstract
There is an increase in the trend of osteoporotic vertebral fractures because of change in lifestyle, increased survival, increase in the diagnosis of vertebral fractures due to osteoporosis. Different methods of intervention for management of Osteoporotic vertebral fractures are broadly classified as conservative and surgical. There is paucity of studies which specifically compare these interventions in management of osteoporotic vertebral fractures and its clinical and functional outcome and its associated complications. The present study was our retrospective prospective study
