Abstract
In recent years, statistical methods have been used to predict precipitation rate and rainfall characteristics.Based on those methods, the rainfall characteristics can be categorized as Below Normal (BN), Normal (N), and Above Normal (AN). In this study, rainfall characteristics have been systematically investigated by comparing two highly effective methods, ARIMA and Probability methods, to predict the characteristics of the rain at Soekarno-Hatta Meteorological Station.
