Abstract

Background: When normal teenage women receive managed ovarian hyperstimulation for aided conception, the iatrogenic illness process known as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), which has the potential to be fatal, may develop. The cornerstone of management is prevention since the therapy is primarily empirical.
