Comparative Study of Different Techniques of IRIS Recognition

Abstract
IRIS recognition is the efficient biometric system for access control, based on unique textural features and
characteristics. Vis-a-vise other biometric technologies, such as fingerprint, face, hand-geometry, etc., IRIS
recognition can easily be considered as effective method of biometric technology. The reason behind that is human
IRIS has lots of textural information and color. It can also aid to discriminate ethnicity and races. However, some
unsolved problems still lie and unaddressed
