Comparison between Endoscopic Stenting Alone versus Balloon Dilatation plus Stenting in Patients with Benign Common Bile Duct Strictures

Abstract
Background: Benign biliary strictures comprise a heterogeneous group of diseases. The main indication for dilation alone is primary sclerosing cholangitis related strictures. Objective: This study compared between stenting alone versus dilation plus stenting by ERCP in patients with benign common bile duct strictures regarding rate of restenosis, complications and frequency of endoscopic sessions
