Comparison between the RESDA and LSDA Schemes for Secure Data Aggregation in Healthcare using the IoT
Abdullah Ali Bahattab, Soufiene Ben Othman
Abstract
Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IoT) is considered one of the hot topics of the Internet applications that can be implemented in different aspects of life such as healthcare, industry, environment, education, etc. For example, in healthcare, aggregating data towards the data center is critical since privacy and security issues could be compromised if the system does not employ adequate and secure data aggregation protocol. In our previous pieces of research, we studied the “Robust and Efficient Secure Data Aggregation (RESDA)” scheme and the "Lightweight Secure Data Aggregation (LSDA)” Scheme to solve the issues of security in data transmission and aggregation in healthcare using IoT. This paper will compare the two protocols; RESDA vs. LSDA.
