DIGITAL IMPLEMENTATION AND CONTROL FOR MULTI QUADRANT OPERATION OF ELECTRONICALLY COMMUTATED MOTOR DRIVE USING FPGA

Abstract
Brushless Direct Current motors are more well-known in industrial and aviation traction applications. This makes Brushless Direct Current motor’s control very vital in all the four quadrants. A control strategy for a BLDC motor to change direction from clockwise to counter clockwise is proposed in this study, and both servo response and regulator response speed control are achieved
