Abstract
This review paper provides an in-depth examination of Direct Torque and Flux Control (DTC) techniques applied to induction motor drive models, highlighting their significance in modern electric drive systems. DTC has emerged as a prominent control strategy due to its ability to achieve high performance in terms of torque and flux regulation, rapid dynamic response, and enhanced efficiency. The paper analyzes various implementations of DTC, comparing traditional methods with recent advancements in control algorithms and techniques. Key challenges associated with DTC, such as torque ripple, computational complexity, and implementation costs, are discussed, alongside potential solutions and improvements. Furthermore, the review explores the integration of DTC with advanced technologies such as model predictive control and artificial intelligence, emphasizing their potential to enhance system performance. By synthesizing current research and practical applications, this review aims to provide valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field, guiding future developments in induction motor control systems and their applications in various industrial and automotive sectors.
