Abstract

Medical image processing is an interesting and vigorous research area where fields such as Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, Biology, Medicine and Computer Science, collaborate interdisciplinary to enhance health care. To perform the diagnosis in the field of medical sciences, therapy preparation, medical education, epidemiology study images plays a vital part. Capture the facts in the human body such as to find the nervous functions, muscular-skeletal, tissue physiology and anatomy different modalities are invented or developed. The different modalities in the X-ray images are: X-ray, CTComputed Tomography, US-Ultrasound, CT angiography or optical surface scanning (OSS), MRSIfluorescence endoscopy, MRI- Magnetic Resonance Imaging etc.
