S.Jagadeesh, Katakam Preethi, Mithuna raj, Nandhini Reddy Kasi Reddy
Abstract
Voltage Controlled Oscillator is one of the most crucial primary constructing blocks for analog, digital
and also to the mixed signal circuits. This paper affords a brand-new approach to enhance the overall
performance of a ring oscillator. The VCO is primarily based totally on one side ended of ring oscillators.
The circuit is designed with the use of CMOS technology with Supply voltage of 4V. A VCO with Lower
cut off frequency 5.50Ghz and upper cut off frequency 5.85Ghz is achieved by this approach. Obtained
Simulation results give the better performance of the proposed layout compared to existing present day
starved ring VCO in terms of oscillation frequency and power consumption.
Keywords
