Design and Implementation of IoT and AI enabled Innovative LPG Cylinder Monitoring System

Abstract
LPG cylinders are now an integral part of every home. Any leakage of LPG is dangerous and life threatening. Lot of accidents are reported every day for leakage of LPG. It is a general problem that there is no continuous monitoring of amount of LPG gas remaining in cylinder and suddenly the gas is exhausted. Systems having facility of continuous monitoring of leakage of LPG, measuring quantity of gas remaining and prediction when the gas cylinder will be empty, are very rare. In this work we have developed a product prototype that can detect LPG leakage, monitor weight of remaining gas continuously and updates these data through IoT to cloud. The owner can view these data from any part of the world through internet. This system can predict the probable time when the gas will be finished (by usage pattern of gas) by AI model developed by us and will alert owner for booking gas. Any leakage is reported through IoT and local alarm is also generated.
