Development Of Porous Polyurethane And Test Of Its Adsorption Capacity Against Carcinogenic Compounds In Igarette Smoke

Abstract
Research has been carried out on the synthesis and characterization of porous polyurethane from glycerol as well as testing its adsorption capacity against carcinogenic compounds in cigarette smoke. Porous polyurethane was synthesized with variations in the volume of glycerol added with polyethylene glycol (PEG 1000) and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI).
