Development of Self compacting Light Weight Concrete

Abstract
New variants of situation specific concretes are developed by addition and replacements made to the
basic ingredients of conventional concrete. This experimental study combines two such variants of
concrete namely Light Weight Aggregate Concrete (LWAC) and Self Compacting Concrete (SCC). LECA
and Cinder are light weight aggregates used to reduce density of concrete, subsequently the dead load
of components made with Light weight aggregate concretes
