Dietary management of choledocholithiasis patient in a tertiary care hospital

Abstract
Choledocholithiasis is the presence of gallstone in the regular bile duct. The stone may comprise of bile pigments or calcium and cholesterol salts. The stones usually remain in the gall bladders or pass through the CBD unobstructed. Choledocholithiasis is the significant reason for morbidity and mortality throughout the world and at least approximately >10 % of the adults have gallstones with a recent rise in the incidence due to change in the dietary factors.
