Abstract
A wound is a breakdown of tissue continuity. Wound care generally used povidone iodine 10% but can cause allergies to the skin. Papaya leaves have the potential to accelerate wound healing, one of which is because of the content of papain. This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of using povidone iodine 10% with papaya leaf extract gel on the duration of wound healing incision wistar rats
