Abstract

This study aims to analyse the understanding and implementation, methods, approach, and model of moral education applied in elementary schools. This study was a descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. The results of study showed that from the total of 50 teachers, who were observed and interviewed, the moral and character education applied at school is mostly traditionally teacher-oriented, where teachers are the one who give rather forceful and indoctrinated punishment and rules
