EFFECT OF LECA ON CORROSION RESISTANCE OF SELF-CURING CONCRETE

Abstract
Self-curing concrete using pre-saturated lightweight particles is a well-established way of
preventing self-desiccation and autogenous shrinkage. The current research compares self-curing
concrete qualities with LECA as self-curing agents for water retention. In this investigation, lightweight
aggregate (LECA) 0 percent, 10%, 15%, 20%, and with nano silica 1%, 2%, and 3% by volume percent
were chosen
