EMPLOYEES’ PERCEPTION TOWARDS HRMPRACTICES IN INDIAN BANKING INDUSTRY
Dr. E. Rushit Gnanaroy
Abstract
The success of an organisation would depend upon the performance of HRs. This performance would result from the HRM practices being followed in the organisation(Anthony et al., 2014). It is the only tool for achieving organisational goals and the effective management of HR within the organisation. The information gathered from the employees towards the perception of HRM policies and practices would help the management to assess the effectiveness of HR policies in practice, understand employee satisfaction, and conduct development programmes for further improvement (Ying Wang, et al., 2020). This paper has been devoted to examine employees’ attitude towards HRM practices in PSBs and PRSBs.The present study concludes that the perceived HRM practices in banks are only at a moderate level. So, the banks should highly focus on HRM practices to improve employee performance, to minimize the employees’ turnover, fill up the skill gap, and performancebased incentives and promotion.
