EXPERIMENTAL AND CFD INVESTIGATION OF SOLAR DISC TYPE MODEL WITH PCM USING DESALINATION SYSTEMS

Abstract
A hybrid approach of solar disc type boiler for pre-treatment of brine, and dosing in blending, killing the bacteria, virus, and other hazardous contents and also to eliminate dissolved salt, the drip type top-up for maintaining the thin water film on the solar still, boiled and cooled brine supply reduces the
evaporation temperature, the PCM optimized based on simulation (CFD) of the proposed system with three different PCM of Grade S72, S89, and S117.
